This is a Swiss pocket watch made circa 1890
The case has silver marks for .800
The watch has a day, date, month and moonphase function
The day and date function change automatically every 24 hours and can be set manually by the pins on the side of the case. The moonphase function changes every 48 hours and can be set manually by the pin in the side of the case and the month function can only be set manually its respective pin
Movement – the gilt bridge movement has a lever escapement and is in 100% mint condition – some tarnish
Case – the movement comes in a silver hunter case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops crisply open to 90 degrees when you press the stem in. The case is decorated with engine turning and is in 95% mint condition – the inner cover is gilt metal has a yellow finish; apart from that this is a superb case.
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands, and gilt filigree pointer hands. The dial has a month function next to the 9, a date function under the 12, a day function next to the 3 and a moonphase function under the subsidiary seconds dial. The dial signed “Swiss Made” and is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 16mm deep
The watch is stem wound / pin set
