This is a genuine 14K gold hunter pocket watch made by IWC
Movement – the Cal. 74 gilt bridge movement has a lever escapement and a micrometer regulator. The movement is jewelled to the centre and is signed “IWC, Probus, Scafusia”. # 804739. The movement is in 100% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a solid 14K gold hunter case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops open to 45 degrees when you press the winder in. The inside of the back cover is stamped 14K, IWC Probus, Scafusia”. The inner cover is signed “International Watch Co, Schaffhausen”. The case has carved edges with engine turning on the back and front covers. The case is in 90% mint condition – there are a few light scratches on the back and front covers and a some tiny dimple bruises.
Dial – the silvered dial has gilt Breguet style hands and raised gilt numbers. The dial is signed “International Watch Co, Schaffhausen” and is in 85% mint condition – several small marks and scratches
The watch has a fine mineral glass
The watch measures 48mm wide x 7.7mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
