About this item
This is a vintage pocket watch made in Switzerland circa 1940. I have not been able to ascertain the maker.
Movement – the high quality 17 Jewel nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with exposed steel work for the start, stop, fly back and reset chronograph function. The movement has its original spare part compartment with spare parts and is in 100% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a chrome open face case, which has a snap on inner, back and bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – two tiny dimple dings on the back and light scratches
Dial – the paint on metal dial has a full set of blue steel hands and a 30 minute register. The dial is signed “Swiss Made” and is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a synthetic glass. This does have some light scratches and can be changed on request
The watch measures 51mm wide x 15mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
