This pocket watch was made by the Hampden pocket watch company and is one of their highest railroad grade watches
Movement – the top quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator with raised gold jewel settings including a large gold cap on the mainspring barrel. The movement is decorated with damascening and is signed “HWC Canton O, 23 Jewels, No 104, Adjusted to 5 positions” # 3303462. The movement is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a Dueber gold plated open face case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and in 95% mint condition
Dial – the white enamel dial, is double sunk, it has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Hampden Watch Co”. The dial is in 90% mint condition – hairlines on the 11, 9 & 7.
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch is stem wound / lever set
The watch measures 50mm wide x 13mm deep
