The watch has clear hallmarks for London 1822

Movement – the gilt full plate fusee movement has a lever escapement with a steel 3 arm balance wheel and a large diamond endstone. The movement has an ornately pierced watch cock. The movement is signed “B. Lautier, Bridge Street, Bath” 506 and is in 95% mint condition – a superb movement.

The case has coin edged sides and a smooth plain finish. The case is in 95% mint condition – a really good example of an early English silver consular case
