    This pocket watch is one of the finest English watches you can buy in silver and was made by the esteemed watch maker Charles Frodsham. The watch has clear hallmarks for London 1888 and is in near perfect condition throughout

    Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a raised mainspring barrel decorated with engraving and a lever escapement with a compensated balance.

     The movement is signed “Chas Frodsham, By Appointment to the Queen, 84 Strand, London, No 07676 

    The movement is in 99% mint condition

    Case – the movement comes in a large and top quality English silver half hunter case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops open crisply to 90 degrees when you press the winder in. The case has case makers marks for CJT.

    The case has an engraved family crest & initials on the back and a blue enamel chapter ring on the front cover. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition

    Dial – the off white enamel dial has has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Chas Frodsham, 07676” and is in 99% mint condition – a hairline in the centre of the dial between the two dials

    The watch measures 50mm wide x 13mm deep

    The watch has a mineral glass
