Unusual pocket watch chain which transforms into a writing pen c1890

This is a white metal pocket watch chain which has a T bar at one end and a dog clip at the other and measures 280mm between them and a link is 5mm wide. The links are tubes decorated with chased detailing and these tube links have a chain running through them to keep them joined. However each tube can fit inside the other to form a solid rod. You then pull out the end tube to reveal a nib, which you then reverse and slot into the end forming a dipping writing pen. Attached to the T bar by means of another dog clip is a little screw top bottle. This detaches from then pen and this is to hold your ink. The base of the ink well is stamped Patent NLF. The chain / pen is in 95% mint condition.
