About this item
This is a heavy brass pocket watch stand which has a large shell like base with a back support in the form of a lion’s paw. The stand has a central figure of a mermaid with what looks like wings but could be the waves crashing on her back. She is “holding” the watch support which is a disc with a hook to hold the watch. This has a carved surround.
The stand will take most pocket watches but looks particularly good with watches 50mm wide
The stand measures 180mm x 130mm and is in 95% mint condition
