    It does not come with any warranty against the fusee chain breaking

    The case has clear English silver hallmarks for London 1860

    This watch is running and keeps time to within 15 minutes a day. It has not been cleaned and serviced.

    Movement – the gilt full plate verge movement has a fusee chain with a lever escapement and a gold balance wheel. The movement is signed “A Buchan. Blairgowrie, 610.  The movement is in 85% mint condition – several light scratches

    The movement has its original gilt dust cap

    Inner case – the movement comes in an inner case, which has a hinged bezel and the watch is wound from the back, set from the front and is accessed from the front also. The case has its original bow and stem. It has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – small marks and scratches

    Outer case – the original and matching outer case has its original button and clasp. It has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – a superb example

    Dial – the white enamel dial has its original pair of gilt hands plus a blue steel seconds hand. The dial is numbered 610 and is in 98% mint condition – a tiny hairline from the centre to the sub seconds

    The watch has a mineral glass – which has some scratches

    The watch measures 54mm wide x 19mm high including the glass

    The watch is key wound / key set and comes with an old antique key
