About this item
This pocket watch was made in the USA by Waltham and sent to England where it was cased and sold
The watch has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1927 and also clear assay marks for 9K gold.
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening,. The movement is signed “A.W.W.Co, Waltham USA” # 24616354 and is in 95% mint condition.
Case – the movement comes in a solid 9K gold open face case by Dennison, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – one light
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Waltham, USA” and also "Swiss Made Dial" on the upper edge of the dial.
The dial is decorated with original brightly coloured Masonic symbols instead of numerals. The dial is in 100% mint condition.
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 49mm wide x 12mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set.
