This is a vintage pocket watch made by the Hamilton Watch Co, USA.
Movement – the nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement and an elinvar balance. The movement is decorated with damascening and is signed “Hamilton, USA, 917, 17 Jewels, Adjusted, 3 positions”. The movement is in 100% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a 10K gold filled open face case by Hamilton. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – light surface scratches on the back but overall in superb condition
Dial – the satin finish metal dial has Masonic symbols instead of numerals and gilt baton hands. The dial is signed “Hamilton” and is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 46mm wide x 8.5mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch comes in a superb bakelite box with a carved lid signed Hamilton. The box is also lined with silk and velvet and signed “Hamilton”.
The box is in superb condition
