Vintage Omega pocket watch with an unusual silver case c1913
This is a genuine Omega pocket watch which comes in its original silver case.
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement, 15 Jewels and a compensated balance. The movement is signed “Omega” and is in 98% mint condition – a very clean looking movement
Case – the movement comes in a silver open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The back cover is signed “Omega” The case is decorated with a floral engraving on the back with a triangular facet cut sides . The case is in 95% mint condition – a lovely example
Dial – the white enamel dial has a set of gilt steel hands and red enamel five minute marks. The dial is signed “Omega, Suisse” and is in 95% mint condition – a tiny flake and hairline on the small hole for the subsidiary seconds.
The watch has a bevelled mineral glass
The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch measures 51mm wide x 14mm deep
