Vintage pocket watch made for Mermod & Jaccard Jewelry Co c1900

This is a Swiss watch, probably made by Longines for Mermod and Jaccard Jewelry Co, St Louis

Movement – the nickel ¾ plate 15 Jewel movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Constant, St Louis” 689628 and is in 95% mint condition

Case – the movement comes in a gold plated Keystone open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The case has coin edged sides and engine turning and is in 90% mint condition – this looks like a crisp case but there is a bruise on edge and this, I think, has resulted in the back cover not closing tightly, just resting shut

Dial – the white enamel dial has red five minute marks, blue steel hands and is signed “Mermod & Jaccard Jewelry Co, St Louis”. The dial is in 99% mint condition – a little dirty

The watch has a mineral glass

The watch measures 51mm wide x 15mm deep

The watch is stem wound / lever set
