This is a Swiss silver pocket watch which when you slide the button on the side, the watch will chime the hours, quarters and minutes
The watch chimes a clear hour and quarter sound but the minutes are slightly flat; this is reflected in the lower price for this watch.

The watch has silver assay marks for .925
Movement – the nickel 3 finger bridge movement has a lever escapement with two hammers striking on inner gongs. The movement is numbered 16802 and is in 99% mint condition – practically flawless
Case – the movement comes in a silver open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel.
The case is signed “Martel Watch Co” on the inside of the back cover.
The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – there are some light scratches on the back of the case and one bruise on the side of the case.
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed by the retailer Hausmand & Co. The dial is in 99% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 52mm wide x 18mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
