    A Victorian garnet and gold pendant and chain in fitted case
    The pendant has a carved oval garnet cabochon inset with a gold star set with a seed pearl, the garnet is framed by rope and bead work and suspended on a chain of circular reeded links with barrel clasp. The necklace with its original blue velvet lined case. The piece is not marked but tests as gold. 
    Circa 1860

    Pendant is 3.5cm long (including top loop) by 2.5cm wide. 42.5cm long. 

    Condition: The pendant and chain and interior of box are in excellent condition and the outside of the box shows some wear consistent with age. A lovely original piece sold with its original fitted case.
