About this item
This is one of the best 17thc Oak Chairs of this early period, I have bought, of this desirable type of chair....it has everything...it is totally original.....usually there is a lot of restoration, as they were prone to being knocked over and of course the age....the colour is completely natural....and the carving is beautifully done with such confidence....the panels alone would be worth a lot of money....it even has the original toes....one of my favourite pieces that have come my way....!
English. - Lancashire -Circa 1685.
