A Victorian Period Gillows oak writing table designed by Bruce Talbert. The rectangular solid oak top retaining the original leather writing surface with wonderful gilt tooled aesthetic motifs. Having two frieze drawers with Gothic revival brass handles and escutcheons, one drawer stamped Gillow & Co. Raised on ring turned supports with finely carved aesthetic detail, united by cross stretchers and brass and porcelain castors. English circa 1870-1880, in wonderful original condition
