About this item
Traditional Spanish Refectory Table made of oak with very decoratively shaped wrought-iron crossing stretchers connecting the underneath of the table top to central points between the legs on each side.
The table was made around 1890 and shows the influence of the 'Aesthetic' or 'Arts & Crafts' Movement which was current at the time particularly in England, though less often found in Spain and France.
In good condition with some natural wear, its very solid oak top together with the mediaeval style of its chunky legs making the table extremely sturdy.
Measures 60 inches long x 24 wide x 28 high. In good condition . Made in Spain circa 1890-1920
