A late 18th century (circa 1800) mahogany glazed bookcase of fine patina - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
The bookcase consists of a moulded cornice to the top leading down to two astragal glazed doors below, these with ebonised paterae to each corner with ebonised beading to the door, the doors opening up to reveal an interior with three adjustable shelves.
The base section having two doors each consisting of fine quality curl mahogany panels with ebonised paterae to each corner and ebonised beading to the door with acanthus carved trusses to either side, the cupboard doors opening up to reveal one shelf inside all supported on turned feet, the front feet having gadrooned decoration.
This bookcase is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home or office.
