    Large Silver Swiss Centre Seconds Chronograph.

    A large late 19th Century Swiss centre seconds chronograph in an English silver open face case. Gilt three quarter plate keywind movement with going barrel.

    Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. White enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt hands.

    Large English plain silver open face case with slide in the band to stop the watch. Plain back with vacant oval cartouche, wound and set through the silver cuvette, maker's mark "LJ" in a rectangle.

    Hallmarked Birmingham 1894. Anonymous: Swiss.
