A superb quality 19th century Burr Walnut ottoman, having panelled sides, raised on a plinth base and retaining the original wooden inset castors. The lift-up lid opens to reveal a Mahogany lined interior and original hinges. The top retaining the original horse hair with a needle point covering which would benefit from being recovered. Wonderful colour with original finish. English, Circa 1860. Perfect alternative to a coffee table or wonderful at the end of a bed.
