    About this item

    This is a beautiful antique painted satinwood cellarette in the 'Sheraton style' made from the finest cuts of satinwood veneers with cross banding of tulipwood, stung with boxwood and ebony inlays. It has a tapered octagonal form, the top has been segmented with a central oval fan patrae. The front and back are painted with scenes, The front of Harlequin & a Young Lady. The back a young lady and a gentleman 'muse'. Bouquets of flowers to the four side panels. Brass carrying handles, castors, working lock. Square tapered legs again with ebony stringing and Details.

    The interior holds 14 bottles within a baize lined Stand.

    A most attractive piece of the highest quality.


    Condition : Very good, very minor repairs to a few places. The baize has been replaced.
