A gorgeous 19th Century giltwood overmantle mirror finely hand carved and of fabulous quality. The original sparkly mercury mirror glass plate of rectangular form with curved detail to the top corner returns is set within a beautifully simple, moulded and fluted giltwood frame with an elegant border of beautifully detailed flowerheads and beaded row motif detail throughout. Supported on shaped platform giltwood and ebonised base with a stunning arrangement of scrolls, trailing acanthus leaves and flowerhead detail to the sides.
