A very fine early 19th Century Irish William IV giltwood overmantle mirror. The mirror glass plate of rectangular form is set within an elegantly shaped and moulded giltwood frame, adorned throughout with scrolling foliate, surmounted with stunning c - scrolls, ruffles and trailing foliate intricately hand carved in high relief. The platform base with a further arrangement of scrolling foliate and trailing bell husk motif detail to the sides.
