A very fine 19th Century giltwood margin overmanatle or hall mirror of large proportions. The mirror glass plate of rectangular form set within a fabulously hand carved, moulded and shaped giltwood frame with beading, ribbon twist, leaf and foliate motif border detail and four additional shaped mirror glass plates. Surmounted with a centred pierced crest composition intricately hand carved in high relief, comprising of an arrangement of Neoclassical motifs, a wreath, quiver of arrows, flaming torch, trailing foliate and flowerheads, ribbon and bow detail, flanked with two elegant urn finials.
