An early 19th century (circa 1820) fine quality Regency rosewood overmantle mirror - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
This mirror consists of a rosewood frame with Classical column design with brass mount decoration.
The columns to the top and sides with foliate brass mounts and central circular brass patera with moulded brass capitals and foliate mounts with brass star decoration to the outer top corners.
This leads down to the lower edge with foliate mounts and central circular brass patera, the moulded slip surrounding the original plate in very good condition.
This overmantle mirror is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
