This is a seal fob made circa 1810 and would make a very interesting pendant
This is a Georgian gilt metal seal.
The seal is set with a light red / white glass – this looks like it has a crack, it doesn’t it is just paint or dirt trapped behind the stone
The gilt seal has an ornate carved shank and wire work handle topped with a carved suspension ring.
The seal measures 30mm x 26mm x 17mm
The seal is 70% mint condition – the gilding has worn away and the seal is now a dull brassy colour, also the stone has marks all of which is reflected in the price
