    This is a medieval silver penny of King John of England, struck at the London Mint between 1213 - 1215 AD.

    Obverse: ҺЄNRICVS RЄX (King Henry) Legend around crowned facing bust, holding sceptre.

    Reverse:  +RAVF ON LVNDE (Rauf of London) Legend around voided cross, with four pellets in angles.

    It is an excellent example in VF condition of a good weight.
