This is a very large antique adjustable easel. An English, pitch pine artist's rest, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Offers superior versatility for the larger masterpiece or smaller composition
Displays a desirable aged patina with minimal remnants of paint
Pitch pine shows fine grain interest and deep caramel hues
Back rest adjusts to a height of 8' 2" to accommodate a canvas of 6'1" tall
