    An impressive large early 18thc Pewter Charger stamped with the owners initials R.W. and with the touchmarks of Richard Chambers, York ....he was an apprentice under Janne Waid from 1691 to 1695 and had himself apprentices from 1712  to 1738....his father was William Chambers, York 1665- 1700. The charger is in good condition with a natural colour & patination from years of use...it would look very at home on a large Oak Table full of fruit..!
