This large outstanding platter measures a whopping 17 1/2" long x 14 1/2" wide. It is crisply transfer printed in a dark black with a pearlware glaze.
The platter has a wonderful scalloped edge and a border pattern of fruits and flowers. The central image depicts a pastoral setting with cows on the lawn of a stunning parisian estate.
The platter displays beautifully and is a very functional serving piece. A stunning piece in great condition. Best one we have seen.
Platters in this wonderful pattern don't come along often, and the contrast and composition is especially beautiful in this rich black color.
