This is a hunter, stem wound / lever set movement
The movement has a good balance and spring
The movement does not have a winder
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and a micrometer regulator. The movement is decorated with damascening and is marked with a deer and an N.
The movement is signed “E Howard & Co, Boston, Adjusted, 225098”
The movement is in 80% mint condition – some scratches and tarnish
Dial – the white enamel has blue steel hands but is missing a minute hand. It is signed “E. Howard & Co, Boston” and is in 85% mint condition – a hairline running through the centre and a faint hairline on the edge of the 3
The movement measures 46mm wide x 8mm deep
