    It does not come with any warranty against the fusee chain breaking

    This is an English silver pocket watch which has London hallmarks for 1826

    The watch is ticking and running and keeps good time but is lacking a minute hands and has not been cleaned or serviced.

    Movement – the gilt full plate lever movement is fusee driven with a lever escapement. It has a steel balance wheel and is signed “Wm Heffer, 2 George St, Grosvenor Square, London, No 263 ”. The movement is in 95% mint condition – superb condition

    The watch has its original gilt dust cap

    Case – the movement comes in an English silver open face case, which has a hinged back and bezel. The watch is wound from the back, set from the front and the movement is accessed from the front also. The case is decorated with coin edged sides and a smooth plain finish on the back and a carved bow. The case is in 95% mint condition – light wear only and a lovely early case

    Dial – the off white enamel dial has on gilt hour hand and a blue steel sub seconds hands. The dial is in 95% mint condition – some very faint hairlines

    The watch has a mineral glass

    The watch measures 53mm wide x 20mm deep

    The watch is key wound / key set and comes with an antique watch key
