About this item
This is a heavy gold cased pocket watch key – that is a thick layer of 15K gold on metal
The key has a curved shape with a sprung hinged centre which is the winding part. This turns a full 360 but due to its spring will stay in position up or down allowing you to use it as a key and apply pressure when winding
The steel winding end is covered with a layer of gold and also a gold corkscrew motif
It is a size 3-4 approx
The key has a smooth plain finish and a suspension loop which rotates a full 360 degrees
The key when “closed” measures 27mm x 16mm x 3mm and is in 95% mint condition – a small solder repair on the suspension loop .
