Fancy PEAKY BLINDERS Style silver pocket watch chain & Horse fob c1890

This is a low grade silver chain. What does that mean? Most silver chains we sell are English silver with clear hallmarks on every link. We also sell fancier chains which may be stamped Sterling. This chain has no silver marks. So we test it with acid for its purity and in this case get a low testing. So the silver content in the chain did not have enough to earn some sort of stamp. The chain is still an antique silver chain but the low grade purity is represented in the price.

This silver pocket watch chain has a white metal T bar which is also a pocket watch key. This is attached to a single length of watch chain which is made up of fancy carved links interspersed with large carved box links. There is a dog clip at the other end and the chain measures from end to end 280mm with one box link measuring 27mm x 9mm. Hanging from the chain is a smaller length of chain from which hangs a horse shoe stirrup and fob, which measures 31mm x 22mm

The chain is in 95% mint condition
