Silver Albertina Pocket Watch Chain. Circa 1890

This is a silver albertina pocket watch chain which measures 220mm in length from the T bar to the dog clip. The T bar has an unusual applied silver wire spiral design. The chain is made up of two lengths of chain joined together by a heart shaped mount. Then another length of three curb link chains joined by a heart shaped mount. Then a final length of two curb link chains ending with the dog clip. At the T bar end there is an additional length of chain with a silver tassel. The chain is in 95% mint condition – the strands of the tassel are worn.
