This is a Victorian gilt metal pocket watch key which was made circa 1850
The gilt metal key is a square shaped and set with a domed opaque white stone on one side and a high gloss domed red hard stone on the other
The key has a carved shank and a carved suspension loop which turns 360 degrees
The key has a steel winding end which is a size 2-3 and is covered with a gilt sleeve.
The key measures 38mm x 14mm x 10mm
The key is in 90% mint condition – the carving and detailing are crisp but there is some small areas of tarnish and loss of gilding
