About this item
This is a gilt metal pocket watch key which was made circa 1840
The key has a rectangular gilt mount with carved detailing and a matching suspension loop which rotates a full 360 degrees
The key is set with a lovely example of a foil backed citrine and a red hard stone on the other.
The key has a gilt on steel winding pipe which is a size 2-3 approx
The key measures 44mm x 19mm x 11mm
The key is in 85% mint condition – the gilding has worn off the high points however this key would still be an attractive pendant
