18K Gold Breguet pocket watch key c1810

This is a solid 18K gold pocket watch key which has a sprung handle and an internal ratchet allowing a watch to be wound in one direction only. The key is a size 00-0 and measures 23mm long x 4mm wide. The key is in 70% mint condition - has a good ratchet but the suspension loop is damaged and there are many fine bruises to the gold covering on the steel winding pipe and the handle is bent out of shape – all reflected in the price.
