Early French Red stone pocket watch c1810

This is a gilt coloured pocket watch key is set with a mottled white and red hard stone with domed finish. The key has a superb shank with bevelled sides and carved detailing, top and bottom. The key has a wire suspension loop and a steel winding pipe which is a size 4. The key measures 56mm long x 30mm wide x 5mm and is in 90% mint condition – the suspension loop is a little bent and the gilding is more coppery.
