This Georgian pocket watch key has a metal core but is covered with sleeves of fine 15K gold but is not solid gold throughout
The key has an internal ratchet and teeth, allowing the key to wind in one direction only, thus preventing damage to delicate fusee driven watches.
The round handle is finely engraved and set with three rubies
The sleeves are decorated with fine engine turning and there is a suspension loop
The key has a steel pipe with a gold sleeve and is a size 1-2 approx
The key measures 35mm x 7mm
The key is in 95% mint condition
