About this item
This pocket watch key was probably made in France in the early 1800s
It is MUCH bigger than usual and would make a very interesting pendant
The key has an ornate gilt metal mount and shank with swags to the top. The frame holding the stone in place is in two pieces and rotates allowing the steel winding end to be in winding mode or folded into place
In the centre is a beautiful piece of purple / brown agate with natural striations
The key has a suspension loop
The winding pipe is a size 1-2
The key (with the winder folded into a resting position) measures 55mm x 43mm x 8mm and is in 95% mint condition
