16 size 21 Jewel Elgin B W Raymond Wind Indicator pocket watch c1926

This is an American Railroad grade pocket watch which has the additional function of a 40 hour wind indicator function

Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damascening. The movement has gold train wheels and gold jewel settings. The movement is signed “BW Raymond, Elgin Nat’l Watch Co, USA, 21 Jewels, Adjusted 5 positions” 28933873 and is in 85% mint condition – many fine scratches

Case – the movement comes in its correct 10K Gold filled Keystone case, signed B W Raymond model. The case has engine turned sides and a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – light traces of metal coming through, overall in excellent condition

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Elgin”. The dial has a full set of blue steel hands and a wind indicator function.
