An 18 Kt yellow gold open face pocket watch, made in England and hallmarked for London 1909. The pocket watch is complete with original Clerke box.
Dial: The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued double spade hands. The protective glass is in good condition. The dial is signed: “Clerke, 1, Royal Exchange, London, 8315”. The front of the case has blue Roman numerals.
Movement: The anchor lever movement has fully blued screwed jewels and is in great working condition; however, we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: “Clerke, 1, Royal Exchange, London” and numbered: 315.
Case: The pocket watch lies in an 18 Kt yellow gold half hunter case with an engraved monogram on the back case. The inner side of the case is stamped for 18 Kt gold and numbered: 5433. The cuvette is decoratively signed: “Waldemar to Julia, as a token of 13 years constant love & admiration 27.8.00 - 27.8.13”. The watch is complete with original box: “Clerke, Jeweller, Diamond & Pearl Merchant”.
