This pocket watch is one of the first production line of the hard to find brand, Trenton Watch Co, New Jersey
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate model 1 movement has a lever escapement and 7 Jewels. The movement is signed “Trenton Watch Co, Patented” 58238 and is in 95% mint condition – 2 light scratches
Case – the movement comes in a white metal open face case, which has a hinged back and bezel. The case has coin edged sides, a smooth plain finish and is in 99% mint condition – practically flawless.
Dial – the white enamel dial has a pair of blue steel hands and is in 99% mint condition – tiny marks around the very edge of the dial from the tight fit of the bezel clipping into place
The watch is stem wound / lever set
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 53mm wide x 20mm deep
