This is an American made Waltham. It comes in a particularly unusual carved case
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening. The movement has gold jewel settings and is signed “Waltham, 15 Jewels, USA” # 25056216. The movement is in 70% mint condition – Many scratches and marks
Case – the movement comes in a yellow 14K gold filled open face case, which has unusual carved edges. The case is further engraved with engine turning and floral detailing and has a small monogramed crest. The case is in 80% mint condition – some wear but in overall excellent condition
Dial – the silvered dial has blue steel hands and is signed “Waltham”. The dial has a two tone effect with a round centre with engine turning. The dial is in 80% mint condition – on close inspection, there are many small black point marks in the centre
The watch has a plastic glass
The watch measures 44mm wide x 11mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
