This movement has a good spring but the balance just spins
The movement is an open face, stem wound / lever set
The movement does not come with a winder.
Movement – the ¾ plate nickel movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, PA, 17 Jewels, 978, Adj 5 positions” # 1014982.
The movement is in 95% mint condition – a small marks only
Dial – the double sunk, white enamel Montgomery dial has mismatched blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Hamilton” and is in 99% mint condition – tiny marks only
The movement measures 42.4mm x 7.7mm
