    This is an English silver pocket watch which has London hallmarks for 1859

    This watch is working and running approximately 10 minutes slow. It has not been cleaned or serviced by us and is sold with no warranty

    Please note that this is a fusee pocket watch and incredibly delicate, we do not offer a full guarantee on these watches. Should the fusee chain break, this repair will be charged to you at cost and we will not accept returns if the chain is broken.

    Movement – the gilt full plate lever movement is fusee driven. It has an engraved watch cock with a diamond endstone and is numbered 5842. The movement is in 95% mint condition

    Case – the movement comes in an English silver open face case, which has a hinged back and bezel. The back cover pops open when you press the button in on the stem. The watch is wound from the back, set from the front and the movement is accessed from the front also. The case is decorated with coin edged sides and has engine turning and a vacant cartouche on the back. The case is in 95% mint condition

    Dial – the silvered dial has blue steel hands and raised gold coloured numbers. The dial is decorated with bright cut floral engraving and is in 95% mint condition

    The watch has a mineral glass

    The watch measures 41mm wide x 13mm deep

    The watch is key wound / key set and comes with a lovely old dog clip type watch key
