About this item
This pocket watch was manufactured in Switzerland by Thos Russel & Son Ltd of Liverpool. It was made for the English market where it was cases and sold by Thos Russell & Son.
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Thos Russell & Son, 7 Jewels, Swiss Made”. The movement is in 90% mint condition – some light marks only
Case – the movement comes in a rose coloured rolled gold hunter case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops open crisply to 90 degrees when you press the winder in. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition
Dial – the white enamel dial has full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Thos Russell & Son” and decorated with their Tempus Fugit logo. The dial is in 90% mint condition – there is a hidden hairline from the three to the sub seconds.
The watch has a synthetic glass
The watch measures 51mm wide x 13mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
