This is a Swiss pocket watch made for the UK army circa 1935
Movement – the nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement and 15 Jewels. The movement is signed “15 Rubies, Swiss Made KF 260”. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light scratches.
Case – the movement comes in a nickel metal open face case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case is stamped with GS MK II and a military arrow and A 26515. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – light marks only
Dial – the black enamel dial has old luminous numbers and old luminous hands – al have lost their luminosity over time bit are still in good condition. The dial is signed “Carley and Clemence Ltd, A 26515” and is in 100% mint condition – an exceptional dial
The watch has a bevelled glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 15mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
